With the generous support of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the National Wildlife Federation has been working with five of its affiliate partners to help implement Wildlife Action Plans in GA, MA, MT, NC and WI. NWF and its affiliate parnters will promote the implementation of wildlife action plans in these states by working with state fish and wildlife agencies in each state to reinvigorate their state-based Teaming with Wildlife Coalitions around a shared agenda for implementation of the action plans. They will also be working to identify the best opportunities within the action plans for proactive, incentive-based habitat conservation, implement high-priority conservation actions from the action plans and disseminate lessons learned, best practices and success stories to other states.
