LaBarque Creek Watershed Landowners Develop Website
MDC

The LaBarque Creek Watershed features a high quality stream and rugged sandstone terrain surprisingly close to the metropolitan St. Louis region. Over 42 fish species and numerous rare plants can be found in this 13-square mile wooded watershed, leading to its inclusion in Missouri's Comprehensive Wildlife Strategy as a Conservation Opportunity Area. The LaBarque Creek Watershed Landowners' Committee has developed a vision for their watershed and recently unveiled a new website.

Visit http://labarque.org/ for more information about the LaBarque Creek Watershed, upcoming meetings and events, and some of the threats to this important watershed. The LaBarque Creek Watershed Conservation Opportunity Area Team is a member of Teaming With Wildlife.
